Celebrating Women’s Day with 20 New Social Media Managers

To mark International Women’s Day, we continued one of our favorite traditions at Growzillas Academy—offering free online training in Social Media Management to women who are eager to grow their digital skills and confidence.

Originally planned for 15 participants, the enthusiasm around the program led us to welcome 20 women into the course.

These weren’t just names on an application form. They were students, single mothers, women between jobs, small business owners, and creatives navigating change. Some had never taken an online course before. Others had been quietly teaching themselves for months. They didn’t come from the same place or follow the same path—but they all showed up with one thing in common: the courage to say, “I’m ready to grow.”

This scholarship program is more than a seasonal giveaway. It’s our way of redistributing access—not based on who can afford a course, but on who has the will to learn. Inclusion, to us, isn’t just a checkbox or a caption on a post.

Over several weeks, these women showed up with focus, energy, and a real hunger to learn. Despite the training being fully online, the level of engagement was impressive—from lively discussions and thoughtful questions to shared experiences and creative ideas during sessions.

What stood out the most was their consistency and commitment. Many balanced work, studies, or family while staying fully involved in the program. It was a reminder that when learning opportunities are accessible and flexible, women make the most of them.

To celebrate their success, we brought everyone together for a special certification ceremony at the Growzillas office. Meeting each of the participants in person was truly rewarding. After weeks of seeing only names and profile photos on Zoom, we finally got to connect face-to-face—shake hands, exchange stories, and reflect on the journey together.

At Growzillas Academy, we believe in practical learning, real-world skills, and opening doors for those ready to walk through them. This Women’s Day campaign has become more than just a tradition—it’s a meaningful way for us to invest in growth, opportunity, and community.

Thank you to all the women who joined us this year.

We’ll see you again next March—with more knowledge to share and more seats at the table.
